Our starting point is Sacile, a small town called “Il Giardino della Serenissima” thanks to its evocative Venetian atmospheres. Through narrow roads you will arrive at the first climb, at the foot of the hills, that leads you to Caneva’s castle. After “Conquering” the first castle you will go down towards the sources of the river Livenza, a perfect place to take breathtaking pictures. Short break, then you will start again towards San Floriano’s hill and Polcenigo’s castle, a wonderful medieval village. Then have a small break at Gorgazzo’s source, a legendary place for divers and speleologists, for a relaxing pic-nic. In the afternoon you will go along a path surrounded by woods which arrives to the village of Dardago; then you will continue to the Castle of Aviano, from where you can dominate the Pordenonese countryside. Continue then through pleasant dirt roads and an easy cycle line to Montereale Valcellina, and you will reach the final destination, Maniago’s castle. Breakfast in hotel and then transfer to Cordenons, for a unique trip, discovering the wild and unspoilt nature of the Magredi , a steppe area full of charm and evocative corners formed by Cellina and Meduna brooks. You cross the river just in the junction area between Meduna and Cellina and then proceed with a delicious stop in a wine estate with a visit and lunch in the middle of the vineyard. After lunch proceed north and cross the river in Vivaro, right in the heart of the Magredi. From there turn south, along the other side of the river, getting lost in the intricate streets tangle that characterizes the area.
