Sexto ‘Nplugged 2019: the new edition of the most evocative independent music festival in Italy is coming! As per tradition, Sexto ‘Nplugged aims for the perfect fusion between its location, namely the Abbey of Sesto al Reghena, (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy), and the music of the artists who will perform. The event wants to respect the location’s intimate atmosphere, asking artists to adapt their musical style to the distinctive character of the place. It is a truly unique occasion in which avant-garde artists, relevant on the international contemporary scene, shape their repertoire on the place that hosts them. As a consequence, the latter becomes an amplifier of emotions, deeply involving the audience. Here is the extraordinary Sexto ‘Nplugged 2019 line-up!

- 02ND JULY 2019 – BILLY CORGAN – Singer, guitarist and author, he was the founder of the famous Smashing Pumpkins, leading band of the alternative rock genre of the Nineties. Since 2005 he has undertaken a solo career and has created two albums, dating back to 2005 and 2017. Furthermore, together with The Smashing Pumpkins, on November 16th 2018 Billy Corgan released the new album “Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol . 1 / Lp: No Past. No Future. No Sun “: the band’s first album in 18 years, including all its founders.
- 08TH JULY 2019: SHARON VAN ETTEN – after the extraordinary success of Are We There, the actress, singer and multi-instrumentalist Sharon Van Etten presents her fifth album, entitled “Remind Me Tomorrow”, composed in a period of great commitment and transformation, between pregnancy, university and auditions for television series. In this last work the production and arrangement of John Congleton (producer of Lana del Rey) is evident: the melancholy indie folk style of the artist takes on pop tones.
- 09TH JULY 2019: MICHAEL KIWANUKA –Michael Kiwanuka, a famous English soulman, author of the 2012 album “Home Again”, arrives at Sexto ‘Nplugged 2019 for the only summer date in Italy. The artist, considered one of the most influential soul artists of his generation, opened the Adele tour in 2011 and was nominated for the Brit Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Mercury Prize and BBC Music Awards. In 2016 he released his second album, “Love & Hate”, whose song “Cold Little Heart”, is today the theme song of the series “Big little Lies”.
- 22nd JULY 2019 : EX:RE – ELENA TONRA, singer, guitarist and author of the band DAUGHTER, presents the solo project EX:RE, where she will amaze the audience with her sweet and evocative voice.
